Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Reliable Automotive Services collects through yourcarguy806.com and when you contact us or use our services, and how we use it. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to fix your vehicle and run our business, and we don't sell your information.
2. Information you give us
When you call, text, or send a service request, you may give us your name, phone number, the location of your vehicle, vehicle details (year, make, model, VIN, mileage), a description of the problem, and photos or videos. When you pay, we receive the payment information needed to process it.
3. How the service request form works
The request form on our Contact page does not send your information to our website or store it on a server. When you press “Text My Request,” the form opens the messaging app on your own device with your details pre-filled and addressed to our text line, (806) 776-4460. Nothing is sent until you hit send. “Copy request” copies the text to your device's clipboard only.
4. Language preference
If you choose a language on our site, your browser remembers that choice on your device (local storage) so the site opens in the same language next time. It is not sent to us, and you can change it any time.
5. Information collected automatically
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or third-party marketing pixels. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it handles that data. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
6. How we use information
- To respond to your request and give you a quote
- To schedule, travel to, and perform service on your vehicle
- To send invoices, receipts, and service records, and to process payments
- To follow up on completed work and warranty questions
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
7. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you, such as with parts suppliers (vehicle details for ordering parts), payment processors, and our accounting and shop-management software providers, or when required by law. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
8. Text messages
Phone numbers and messages you send us are used to communicate about your service. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts from us.
9. Data retention and security
We keep customer and vehicle service records for as long as needed to support warranties and your vehicle's service history, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are legally required to keep. Call (806) 686-0709 or text (806) 776-4460.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Language
This Privacy Policy is provided in English and Spanish. If there is any conflict between the two versions, the English version controls.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
